Founded in 1930, Westlawn is the only nationally accredited and state approved distance-learning school of small-craft design in the United States. It is an accredited member DETC, in Washington DC, and approved by the Connecticut Department of Higher Education. An associate-degree option is available through Cecil Community College in Maryland.
